In 1990, Brilliant Opals emerged in a small town north of New South Wales, founded by Gary and Fiona. They began their journey into the world of fine jewelry as apprentices, meticulously cutting and polishing rough opals sourced directly from the opal mines of Lightning Ridge.
In the ensuing years, Gary and Fiona expanded their expertise to include gemstones and diamonds. Initially, they sold their creations to friends and family in Taiwan, eventually moving to wholesale distribution to jewelry retailers across the country.
In 1993, they returned to Singapore and established Brilliant Opals Jewellery, opening a retail showroom in International Plaza. To this day, Brilliant Opals continues to craft exquisite jewelry, creating precious pieces for customers to cherish for generations.
